The Scream is a
painting made in 1893 with a technique of Oil, tempera and pastel on cardboard
and is one of the main representative works of expressionism.
Warm background
colors prevail. Fluid, swirling hues of orange dominate the sky, the road and
the landscape, on the other hand,seem illuminated by a semi-dark light. The
shapes are twisted and the colors are cool arranged.
The painting
expresses the scream presents a figure of a being with a gesture of anguish
that conveys great expressiveness and psychological strength and curiosity.
